Academic Requisites:-
Prospective candidates must have consummated their Matriculation with a minimum aggregate of 50%, accredited by Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Notably, aspirants poised to undertake their 10th Board Examinations in the academic year 2024-25 are provisionally eligible, contingent upon fulfillment of all other criteria.

Odyssey of Recruitment:-
Stage I – INET 2025: Slated for May 2025, this evaluative phase will scrutinize candidates’ cognitive acumen and foundational knowledge.
Stage II: Post-INET, shortlisted aspirants will receive convocations in June 2025, ushering them into rigorous assessments encompassing Physical Fitness Tests (PFT), written examinations, and comprehensive medical evaluations.

Ephemeral Yet Epochal Tenure:-
The Agniveer engagement is delineated for a quadrennial tenure under the aegis of the Navy Act 1957. This tenure is emblematic of a profound commitment to national service, with the Indian Navy retaining the prerogative regarding subsequent extensions or permanent commissions.
Emoluments and Entitlements:-
Agniveers shall be remunerated with a consolidated monthly emolument of ₹30,000, subject to stipulated annual increments. Additionally, they are entitled to ancillary allowances encompassing risk, hardship, attire, and travel, commensurate with naval protocols.
Provident Corpus:-
Upon the culmination of their service, Agniveers will be endowed with a one-time Seva Nidhi package. This corpus amalgamates their cumulative contributions with equivalent co-contributions from the government, serving as a testament to their invaluable service.
Navy SSR & MR INET 2025 :-
The Indian Navy has announced the recruitment process for Agniveer SSR and MR positions for the 02/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026 batches.
Application Details:-
Fee: ₹550 for all candidates; additional 18% GST applies.
Dates: Applications open on March 29, 2025, and close on April 10, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Agniveer MR: Must have passed the 10th-grade examination from a recognized board.
Agniveer SSR: Must have passed the 12th-grade examination with Mathematics and Physics, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science.

Male Candidates:
Height: 157 cm

Monthly Remuneration:-
Year 1: ₹30,000 (In-hand: ₹21,000; 30% fund: ₹9,000)
Year 2: ₹33,000 (In-hand: ₹23,100; 30% fund: ₹9,900)
Year 3: ₹36,500 (In-hand: ₹25,580; 30% fund: ₹10,950)
Year 4: ₹40,000 (In-hand: ₹28,000; 30% fund: ₹12,000)
Selection Process:-
Stage I: Shortlisting through the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET).
Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination.
